Sunday, September 20th@4PM: A Place in the Sun  (1951)

Directed by George Stephens - Rated G

Starring Montgomery Clift, Elizabeth Taylor and Shelley Winters, this is a story of a young man who starts working for his wealthy uncle, and before long must choose between the beautiful Elizabeth Taylor and the sweet, down-to-earth Shelley Winters.   Based on the novel “An American Tragedy” by Theodore Dreiser.

 

Sunday, October 4th@4PM: Empire of the Sun (1987)

Directed by Steven Spielberg – Rated PG

Come see a pre-Batman Christian Bale in this underrated Spielberg gem!  Bale plays a young English boy struggling to survive in a Japanese prison camp during World War II.  Also starring John Malkevich and Miranda Richardson.  

 

 

Wednesday October 21st @4PM: Back to the Future Part II (1989)

Directed by Robert Zemeckis – Rated PG

The second installment in this wildly-popular series starring Michaal J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson has Marty McFly travel to then-future 2015 before returning to his past to prevent changes to his present!  Confusing, perhaps, but you’ll get to enjoy looking at your watch at exactly 4:29PM.
